Salisbury Support Services Because People Matter

Registered Manager - Supported Living Services

Join a Team Where People Matter – Every Day

Are you an experienced care professional ready to take the next step in your leadership journey?

Salisbury Support Services is a small, values-led organisation providing high-quality supported living services to adults (18–65) with learning disabilities, autism, and behaviours that may challenge. Rated ‘Good’ by the CQC, we’re proud of the person-centred, life-enhancing support we offer — and the close-knit, caring culture that makes our staff stay.

We’re now looking for a compassionate, motivated and skilled Registered Manager to lead our team and help shape the future of our services. You’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference every day — not just to the people we support, but to a passionate, dedicated team that looks to you for direction and inspiration.

Whether you’re already registered with the CQC or you’re a strong Deputy ready to step up, this could be the role where your leadership truly shines.

This is permanent full-time role of 40 hours per week which is usually worked between 9-5pm, Monday to Friday. Some flexibility is required to provide emergency cover for staff absence and participate in the on-call rota.

Salary: £38,000 - £42,000

Why Join Us?

  • Friendly, Supportive Environment – We're a small team where your voice is heard and your contribution matters.
  • Incredible Service Users – You’ll be working with inspiring individuals who challenge, surprise, and motivate us every day.
  • No Corporate Clutter – We're people-focused, not process-obsessed.
  • Real Work-Life Balance – With flexible working where possible and support when you need it.

  • Lead the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred support.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC standards and social care legislation.
  • Supervise, support, and develop a committed staff team.
  • Oversee rota planning, recruitment, and service development.
  • Act as the main point of contact for families, professionals, and commissioners.
  • Promote a positive culture of dignity, respect, and safeguarding.
  • Participate in the on-call rota and cover shifts when necessary.

What You'll Bring

  • A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (or willingness to work towards it)
  • Experience in supported living or residential care for adults with learning disabilities/autism
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and a passion for quality
  • A collaborative, can-do attitude and excellent people skills
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

  • Mileage paid at 45p per mile
  • Sleep-in shifts optional (paid at £73.89 per night + hourly rate)
  • 29 days’ holiday (including bank holidays & your birthday off!)
